When we of a pagan denomination use exclaimations of surprise and swear words---c'mon you swear, you know you do--'fess up-- do you use the old christian standbys of Jesus Christ! Or God Damn!??? We tend to say--Name of any Blessed God! or Gods Above and Below! Please explain your religion and epitaph/exclaimation of choice.

I am a Non-Denominational Happy Pagan Person by choice. I used to be Lutheran but I got better....bahahahaha!!!!
I use "Name of Any Blessed God!!" when something ready cheeses me off. I used to use Goddamn, but then I figured out that damning something or someone was actually very rude! (not to mention detrimental towards my karmetic points) So I started blessing it instead. Now I say, O God bless it!! Or as some of our relatives down South say...Oh Bless your heart!!!

Wiccans generally say Blessed Be, but I don't believe that is a form of cursing. Otherwise, I'm pretty much a traditional swearer (is that a word?). I'm not happy that I curse, either, but sometimes, you just gotta let go and say **** IT! Saying that tends to release pent up frustration. Taking the Lord's name in vain is one that I've got a really hard time NOT using and boy, believe me, I'm forever asking for His forgiveness when I do say it. I was born & raised Catholic, but just consider myself a basic Christian. I believe, alright?

Well, actually, I don't need to fess up, because I don't swear, and I especially don't use God's name in vain. I believe it deserves respect.

I say "What the fu**" or "Sh**" or "What the heck" or "By Jupiter" or "Dang Venus" . Geez and goddamn sounds good too.
