Another question related to my prior question. If you go to heaven and suddenly find yourself "perfect", what will distinguish you from your god? Isn't your god the only thing that's truly perfect in your religion? Furthermore, how do you define "perfect"? You mean all the ugly Christians will suddenly be a delight to behold?

All things that offend will be gone, which also includes the flesh body.

Who knows what our minds will be into in heaven.

Your mind is ugly.

So ugly I have to turn away in disgust.

We will not have to distinguish ourselves from God because we will remember that we are all God. We are all an individuation of God and therefore, part of God ourselves. No distinguishing necessary.

I don't know if perfection can possibly be defined, in this physical world of relativity. I think that it is beyond human comprehension. It is something I look forward to discovering.

If I have to put a definition around it I think "perfect" will mean finding the true meaning of the purest state of unconditional love. In the spiritual dimension we will realize that EVERYONE gets to heaven, because hell is a man-made myth and there is no other alternative.

When you go to Heaven, you are not perfect in such a way that you are undistigushable (if that's a word) from God, you're perfect in such a way that there is no more sin. "Ugly" people are just as beautiful as the most beautiful person in the world because there is no jealousy in Heaven, there are no impurities. All sins are forgiven and everyone is finally equal. I define perfect as just that; here on Earth considering someone perfect is personal opinion. Someone who is perfect is someone that you can love through their imperfections and love them as though they had none.

Jesus Christ stated "...ye, you are gods..." We are gods, and its the same as a pyramid. Its like a ladder, gods or aeons above gods or aeons according to there place, but there is the One, The TRUE AEon, which is above all else, was only, but this true GOD of GODS and Lord of Lords emanated itself.

Monad
In many Gnostic systems (and heresiologies), God is known as the Monad, the One, The Absolute, Aion teleos (The Perfect Æon), Bythos (Depth or Profundity, Βυθος), Proarkhe (Before the Beginning, προαρχη), and E Arkhe (The Beginning, η αρχη). God is the high source of the pleroma, the region of light. The various emanations of God are called æons.
Within certain variations of Gnosticism, especially those inspired by Monoimus, the Monad was the highest God which created lesser gods, or elements (similar to æons).

According to some religions the only difference between perfected humans and God is that He has greater experience and power. Of course some religious people get very upset over the idea that we could become Gods and create our own worlds, etc. I think "perfect" is the ultimate accomplishment in fulfilling your desires. If you desire evil (and therefore act evil), you become perfectly evil. If you desire good (and therefore act good), you become perfectly good. If you are something in-between you become perfected in your mediocrity. In each degree of perfection you receive the powers associated with that level of your life. I believe God's judgments are perfect and our reward for our lives will be perfect.

No sin will be present in Heaven. In the aspect of being completely holy and righteous without sin, yes, we will be exactly like God. You must remember that perfection is based on God's standards not man's.

I don't know...nobody does. I am content to wait until that fateful moment when I leave this life.

I will say this, I do believe that being in the presence of souls removed from earthly trappings will be beautiful to behold.

Hey something to look forward to!

What distinguishes angels from God himself? He's the "Creator" and they're the "created." That's the problem with humans. We think beauty deals with the outward and not inward.
