Is it true If you dont feel a burn in your muscles then you dont gain any muscles?

For benchpress I never feel a burn I dont know If I am gaining anything even after doing the pyrymid (lifting less and less weights untill you cant do anymore)

I work out every second day, full out (every muscle) would this be considered as "overlifting"?

Well when muscles build, the point is you work out until they tear, and when they heal up or whatever, they are bigger, little by little. And that's why you leave a day in between. So I am thinking you should feel the burn.

Try doing as much weight as you can in only 8 to 12 reps.
