1-securing the border with state of the art equipment/ more border troopers.
2- guest worker program after a criminal back ground check and a physical exam, with NO path to citizenship.
3-$5000 fine and learning english inorder to qualify. and no eligebility for ANY social/governmental assistant. ( for those who have been here for 5 years or longer)

the fines collected by the INS will help in building the wall and providing the border patrol with the equipments they need.

illegals will become legal meaning they will be able to contribute to our society fair and square.

if you dont like my ideas. please dont be rude.
thanks.

Ok I am all for Number One
As for two, I agree with the no path to citizenship, and of course criminal checks and physicals. But, there is no way we can enforce the "guests" returning home. There are 12 to 20 million of them. A little over 60% got here by overstaying their visas, not running across the desert. What will make them go home when the guestworker period is over. Which also falls into number three. While I like that you recognize the need for a common language and at least some assimilation, as long as we grant citizenship for the children of illegals who are born on this soil, who is going to pay the fine or learn English? All they have to do is have a child here and they are home free. They will also get services, if needed to care for that child. I would like to see this changed, as I believe it is cruel to risk the lives of the unborn in order to gain something from them. I think we need to go further and cut off jobs to those who are not "guestworkers." Employers need to see some much bigger fines, as they exploit people and hurt Americans too. I think people need to get Mexico out of the school system. In California, textbooks are bought from Mexico that teach about Mexico's Constitution. At the expense of taxpayers, an illegal teen can finish high school through TV classes in Mexico and earn a Mexican diploma. No more Spanish,Chinese, etc teachers for kids in American schools who don't speak English. Speak whatever the heck you want when you are home, but do not expect us to spend money for you to learn in the language of your home country. Oops, I see I went off on a tangent here, sorry. Essentially, with some additional points, it is a good start. The problem is, I don't think they will honor the "going home part of the program." And we need to be more fully prepared to enforce it.

These statements, like many others on the issue of immigration, are biased and inaccurate. Approximately 66% of illegal immigrants in the U.S. actively pay federal income tax (several years ago the IRS made provisions such that individuals without SSNs could file income tax) ... as well as sales tax (kind of a given) ... and many other forms of taxation.

At the same time, they are not eligible to receive many of the benefits this taxation would normally afford them.

To imply they are not contributing fairly to our society is not very accurate or fair. In fact, there is reasonable evidence to suggest that if all the illegal immigrants were no longer in the U.S. our country would suffer significantly economically.

Your ideas are indeed good- they make sense and this is why these sort of ideas will never be implemented. The bleeding-heart liberals are the ones who would fight to the death for the "rights" of ppl who aren't from here, and have contributed nothing to our society, while everyday there are ppl who worked hard their entire lives and can't afford healthcare and food, etc. I am a HUGE fan of foreigners coming to America to work and have a better life, but this non-sense of letting ppl come here illegally and giving them everything for free just defies logic. I am a Democrat, but I am not a bleeding-heart idiot! America has become the land of the freeloaders!!!!

Although your points are valid in addressing the problem with illegal aliens present in the United States, I would have to point out the following:

1. We do in fact need secure borders with a fence. Unfortunately, Senate Bill 2611 has hidden provisions stating that we need Mexico's permission to build a fence along the border of the countries. Why Mexico even has any right to influence this decision is beyond me. The number of troops being sent to the border and the rotation is unviable. We need many more troops to truly stop the invasion of our homeland.

2. The whole idea is inconceivable because via oath of office, the representatives of this country are bound to protect us from invasion as defined in the U. S. Constitution. This bill and path will violate our constitutional rights and violate the oath of office taken by officials.

3. Guest Worker programs are used to displace American workers with their cheaper foreign alternative. Simple application of the law of Supply and Demand. As we have seen with many other Guest Worker programs (ie H-1B and L-1, etc.), guest workers NEVER DEPART. This is a means used by corporate america to scream worker shortage or "jobs no american will do" to further diminish wages thru flooding the market with alternative labor pools.

4. The whole notion of the fact is illegal aliens arrived in this country via violation of law or remained after their valid visa had expired. There should be no reward to those violating US law. We don't reward our citizens and thus no one should receive preferential treatment.

5. No illegal alien should have the right to remain because there is a legal process by which immigrants arrive in this country. This process protects the citizens of the country by minimizing or restricting the number of entrants per annum. Additionally, it diminishes the process by which legal immigrants arrive in our country. Illegal aliens are not bound to the rigorous exams that legal immigrants are required to pass in order to gain entry, including health exams and financial abilities. Illegal aliens become a public charge, thus causing a significant burden on tax paying citizens.

Bottom line is Illegal aliens should be deported and asked to enter thru the Legal Immigration process, a border fence must be constructed to secure our borders from invasion, troops must be placed along the border in significant quantity to insure that no trespasser is able to violate the integrity of the border.

Bad idea... Why the hell should we let any of these scum bags in here? We got plenty of people - LEGAL people to do whatever we need. Let this rif raf in and we gotta build twice as many prisons and watch our beautiful cities turned into barrios.

Can you imagine LaJolla with an open cess river running through it like Mexico City. Do you know why in Mexico they never teach driver's education and sex education on the same day? They don't want to wear out the donkey.

1- good idea, but the government must not be allowed to walk away from it again
2 - yes, as long as you agree that having roots in our country don't count
3 - I don't know what you mean by fine, do you mean fee? They still must be allowed emergency services and no anchor babies

Your comment on illegals becoming citizens isn't in your plan. What ever #4 is, it must include giving up your previous citizenship and declaring allegience to America.

There must be an objective unbiased method in place to control immigration and still penalties, fines, and jail for breaking our laws.

If the illegal immigration is not stopped soon the USA will break apart. Drastic measures have to be taken and now. Time to stop feeling sorry for these people.
