I am going on a ten day fishing trip to Alaska with my Dad and Grandpa. I've never been there so I wanted to know some things to take I might have overlooked.

You did not say where you were fishing.
If you are on the salt water you will need some different things than if you are lake or river fishing. Each place requires it's own gear and tackle.

My main recomendations would be clothing for warm or cold weather, a camera, bug dope if you're on land, sturdy shoes and boots, a hat, sunglasses, sun protection (yes you can burn badly here), and a desire to have lots of fun.

nicely of direction fishing equipment would help, inspite of the actuality that i cant sit down the following and write an excellent record out of flies, leaders, rods, reels, strains, floatants, sinkants, strike signals etc etc etc. even if you do favor to take; Deet(or yet another insect repellent) sunlight cream-UV rays reflect from the water and burn you even on extremely overcast days. a lot of SPARE outfits, as its probably that you'll get soaked, inspite of waterproofs. Waders and a wading jacket with both a fly vest or chest p.c.. are considered necessary issues as you'll spend lengthy days on the water. A flashlight is likewise something i take with me, i take advantage of a Gerber a million Watt LED aluminium in tactical black, its significant for evening as its darkish and all to straight forward to fall on something. A mulit-device, like the Leatherman Skeletool-it would nicely be utilized to fix issues etc I also take a small spool of duct tape with me- understand it sounds slightly unusual yet its bypass a lot of makes use of, I have repaired my waders in an emergency, repaired rod eyes etc. also remember sun shades-polarized help you spot into the water that is significant even as wading and touchdown fish, I have a pair of both amber and grey lenses because the amber works nicely in low mild the grey works nicely in shiny mild. A wading team enables because it enables you save a tender footing, spair soles for wading boots in felt with small tungsten studs also enables, alongside with a tube of both epoxy or superglue.
