I have chest length, light-brunetter hair, slightly wavy that I usually curl or straightened, with long layers, long bangs, and a frame around my face. But I haven't had a haircut in a while, so it's starting to look a bit scraggly. I'm thinking of going with something totally new (but I don't want it super short or anything) Any suggestions?

It would be great if someone could direct me to a website with some pictures too :)

here are some suggestions:
add some blondish redish highlights in (or whatever other color)
dye your hair a different color
try a different style of bangs
or anything else you would like

if you are searching for a particular style try searching online on google or something like that for celeb hair like beyonce, or jennifer aniston just to name some. try searching for a look too..like if you want curly, then type in curly hair styles.
