Hell is a place of complete darkness. There will be an eternal fire to burn the unsaved for eternity!
Imagine spending your eternity in total darkness and burning in hell fire! The unsaved will be wailing in agony, their conscience will be tormented, they will still be suffering in their unquenchable lusts, cursing GOD. And all this for eternity...
In fact if you turn your eyes into space, such a concept is not too far fetched. There are scientific proof of black holes in space where time, light, gravity are trapped for eternity. I think Hell will be sometihing like that.
If you ask me, I had rather be in the light, in heaven where I need not suffer torments, where my hearts will be filled with peace and joys. And again for eternity!

The question is an important one. Not one of us on the planet really knows what Heaven is or will be for us. Lots will tell you that they do, but by and large I think we have such a childish concept of Heaven.
Eternity is a long time...is an eternity of bliss any different than an eternity of torment?? Does a drop of time on this planet earn for you or disqualify you from an eternity in Heaven??
I tease my wife that once in Heaven, she will see a line of wives waiting to speak to a Heavenly administrator and the question will be the same, "Where are our husbands", to which the administrator will politely reply..."they are in their version of heaven".
Hope to see you there dude and we can compare notes.

You obviously have the wrong idea about Christianity. However Christians may come across in this world, in Heaven they will be perfect. And we will not be sitting around on tiny clouds playing harps all day. We will be basking in the glory of God and singing His praises for all eternity, and there will never be any pain or negative emotions!

Because it is what you were created for. You can only be truly and completely happy in heaven. I'm sorry if you have had bad experiences with Christians, but I can assure you that there will be no bad experiences in heaven. The whole point of being in heaven is not being with other Christians; it's being with God.

well, if all Christians were ignorant a**holes then it wouldn't be fun. however, when we get to heaven we will be made perfect, we will won't be ignorant. we will be ourselves only better. and heaven won't be boring, there will be sports, paintball, anything good that you can think of, it'll be there. but the best part is the part were we get to spend forever with the God that loves us so much that He died for us, even when we hated him.

Wow, you sound pretty pissed off. Were you raped by your priest or something? You are associating human emotion and feelings to a place that will have none of that. The ******* will be in hell, save me a seat k?
