I used to freeze mine all the time. I kept it frozen for about 3 months after that it kinda tasted bland after I reheated it.

I will admit you can freeze the rest of the sauce i say dont do that. Reason being is because it will not have the same freshness as before and it will not taste the same. I think if you are going to use it again leave it in the jar and close the lid up tightly and put it in the coldest part of the Fridge. Until the next time make sure the expiration date is not near the date u use it.

You can freeze it but not for too long; the flavor leaches out.
DON'T store it in the original container unless you dig getting sick (or, if it's a glass jar, you like shattered glass in the freezer). Put it in a smaller container that's just big enough to hold what you've got. Too much air in the container will give it freezer burn. From there you should be able to keep it for 2-3 months.

I have never frozen my left over sauce but I suppose you could. I freeze my homemade sauce. If it gets watery when you thaw it just let it simmer for a while to reduce the liquid or add some tomatoe paste to thicken.
You can leave it in the fridge up to a week though and use it within that time.

Yes, you can freeze your spaghetti sauce, as long as it is in a freezer-safe container. It can stay there for several months. Anything longer would require long-term freezer storage at a constant temperature of -18 °C or less -- that's colder than your home freezer.

I've frozen spaghetii sauce many times. It always taste fine if not better than when I made it.
I've never kept it over about 4 weeks. That's about how often we eat spaghetti in my house..lol
Have a good one!

upload some sugar, this is going to stability the acidity of the tomatoes. yet another trick that Italians use is to cook dinner some carrots interior the sauce- this provides an identical result i.e. the wonder cuts the bitterness. Or including roasted purple peppers will do an identical -be careful purple wine is fairly acidic and the tannon is bitter so this might upload bitterness particularly than detract from it
