What are exercises that I can do daily, like exercise routines, that will increase my overall flexibility quickly?

Yoga is great. Try the sun salutation. It works most parts of the body and will help your physical strength and balance as well as flexability.

Sit on the floor, open your legs as wide as you can comfortably. Slowly reach for your right foot, hold the stretch for about 5 seconds. Slowly sit back up and then reach for your left foot. Hold that for 5 seconds. Can't reach your feet? No biggie. Reach for wherever on your legs. The goal is to stretch slowly. Slow is the key. This was one of the stretches I learned when studying Tae Kwon Do.

Any kind of stretching. Even if you are tight and it hurts, do it.
