I sure do. I asked this question earlier today. God is real and has made a big difference in my life. I was baptisted may 1 2005 after never going to church before Jan 2005. God is real and god is great.

wow the toughest of the tough, well when i was a young lad of 8 or 9 I was in sunday/catholic school and then to loyola academy..but even when I was young I would always question everything, adam and eve, god and on and on..Of course I grew up in a catholic home which is the only reason why I was catholic, by default, but I would never bend to my parents or the priests or nuns beliefs even at 8 I had to think for myself. The catholic views on God, our existence, sins, and the afterlife just did not seem right to me but i thought about it all the time and I was the only one who would ask questions during sunday school.I dont think anyone should be forced into a religion, it is something that each person should investigate in their own time since it too important or maybe not important at all..young children should not learn about god by using guilt and fear. A young child in a confessional booth just doesn't seem right, what kind of sins does an 8 year old have to confess to. NO I dont believe in god in traditional sense.I believe god was created by man in order to keep man under control by exploiting our fears and showing us the consequenses if mankind crosses god, if you go to church pay your dues and be a good person you just might get into heaven. It certainly scared people into churchs back in the day..I believe there were godlike beings that helped mankind evolve physically and intellectually and of course some would think im nuts and thats ok because this is my point of view that I believe in wholeheartedly and I find that it is crucial to anyones mental development that they think on their accord even if they are 11 years old.I certainly have no regrets...and by the way, believing in god or religion has never been necessary to live a loving peaceful and giving life and without religion certain prejudices dont develop as easily....Besides, looks at all the war and hatred religion has caused throughout human history, but hey if it helps you get through life and answers your questions than by god its ok...

Tell ur daughter Hi
Yes i do believ in god because i dont think that everything that happens here is just a coincidence. Also if there ends up to be no god after all (doubt it) i wouldn't have lost a lot. 1 or 2 hours every sunday. If there is a god ( quite sure about it) i would gain an eternity in heaven. It is also proven that praying is comforting to the mind and has cured many diseases just because it relaxes the person.

Not all people believe in God but it does not mean we are bad people. Just that we do not believe the same way as others do. I like cats and dogs and will go out of my way to save a bird. I believe that every one and every thing has a right to live and be treated with respect.

Hello to you and your daughter!! Yes I do believe and I hope you two do also. And if you do, help us spread the news to all the unbelievers out there that He loves all of us so very much and only wants a relationship with us. He paid the ultimate price on the cross ,don't you think we should love Him back, I do!!!

I think there is something. I am not getting personal, but I have been through alot in my 30 yrs. I have a great family. I believe in my Grandfather. He is the one who keeps an eye on me. thats all,
it is easier to not think about all of this and just live as the best one can. not everyone believes, thats cool. I mean I believe in Peterpan too. never growing up
sounds like fun

Honesty, I dont know anymore...I was raised Catholic, went to church ever Sunday until I turned 18 and have only been maybe 6 times since (I am 30) I guess I need to find the reason to go again and havent found it yet..And I would rather go when I have a reason then to be a hypocrite and tell people I go to church just because it would make me look like a good catholic person....Hopefully I will find the reason in my heart.
