That older men prefer younger woman, and older woman prefer younger men, and if so dont you think there would be such an age gap that the releshionship wouldnt work?

Well age doesn't really matter. I mean, if they feel comfortable going out with younger ppl they go out with youger ppl. I can't say I really agree about the older women liking younger guys, but my best friend's bf is a yr younger than her. And my first bf was younger than me by 5 months. I can agree to the older men liking younger grls, since my ex is a yr older than me. So both are possible.

I think that it is just a generalization. My present girlfriend is 56, my age. We've been living together for over 4 years now and are happy together. My previous live-in girlfriend, 5 years ago, was 15 years younger than I was. The girlfriend I had just before HER was 15 years older than I was. So, they've averaged my age. I don't discriminate against age, as long as she's legal. Sometimes, culturally, one may be so into the fashion or style of her own age group that the relationship is under more of a strain, but, if she can listen to my music and I can listen to hers, it's all good. As far as the other way around, when I was young, I would have LOVED for an older woman to take me seriously and teach me how she wanted to be loved. But, we didn't have the Internet back then, and it was harder to reach out then.

I see younger women preferring older men. These things tend to even themselves out over large populations.

no because supposedly women develop "faster" i'm not so sure how true that is but that is what the scientist say.
