i have been dating this guy for like, 8 or 9 months, and he is ABUSIVE. i know it's my own fault, but, dang! he can't seem to take a hint. he bullies me, and when i tell him to get lost, he birddogs me constantly until i take him back.by the way, he never hit me-he plays mind games and screams insults at me. he lives in another county, and i keep hoping i won't have to file charges, but it doesn't look like there is any hope. if i tell him to leave me alone, he insults me. if i tell him how angry he makes me and why, he whines and cries. if i return the abuse, he freaks out and buries me in i love u's and i'm sorries. and if i sweet talk him, he starts a different head game. how do i make it stop? i have been trying to run him off for months!

Long distance abuse is the pits. IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT! If you cannot get him to stay away from you call the police. Use the phone company to reject his phone calls. Don't visit him or allow him to visit you. Any mutual friends will have to understand that you are no longer in a safe relationship. Also you have to be strong enough to deny him. If you hate the insults then hate him and not yourself. He is only as stong as you allow him to be. If you need help contact the abuse hotline. 1-800-799-SAFE. God's speed.

the mindg games are what starts it and then it becomes physical. if you have any siblings or anyone close to you then you should tell him that this guy will not stop bothering you and that you want them to make sure he gets lost before things get worse. good luck and it's not your fault that your in an abusive relationship especially since your trying to get rid of the guy. you doing the right thing.

come on love!! Tell him you dont want him to come around anymore and get a new dude. Answer the phone while you're boning the new dude. Be mean. If he actually hits you call the cops or someone that will work him.
