I'm concerned about the amount of Tylenol she consumed. Anything over 4,000 milligrams a day is considered LETHAL! So they don't WANT you on anything more than 2,000 milligrams a day. Contact the Poison Control Center via phone and ask them...

the medicine in tylenol PM that causes drowsiness is benadryl...I'm unsure of the side effects of overdosing on benadryl, but what worries me more is taking the amount of acetaminophen (tylenol) that she consumed. Acetaminophen is very damaging to the liver in large doses.

but first things first...call the poison control center in your area. the ph # is in the phone book along with other emergencies #'s. They can advice you what (if anything) you need to do right now.

How old is she??? If she's younger then say 15, you might have a problem. I've taken that many before and I was fine. If you are worried, go to the drug store and go buy some ipicack.

she should be okay......keep a close eye on her. How long ago did she do this? If you are really worried, go to the drug store and buy the syrup...it's called ipecac. It will make her vomit. I would also ask the pharmacist about it. Why did she take so many????

I wouldn't do that, I would call poison control center, or the local ER. Sometimes making someone vomit stuff back up is dangerous.
