Personally, I'd go for Singapore because I'm a shopaholic and a city girl. But if you want a slower-paced environment, quiet and laid-back, you might prefer Laos. Laos also has its own unique experience to offer you especially if you are really looking for rest and relaxation in contrast to the fast-paced city lifestyle in Singapore.

I'm not that rich to survive for a long timw in Singapore..I love Laos so much..I know, there's no shopping centre to shop in Laos but there are night markets which sell so many good stuff made by the Laos people..The people are nice, the air is better than Sg. Everything just so awesome..I love Laos!!

Well, for a shopaholic Singapore is a must, you could shop till you drop at Orchard Road.. but for someone who search for something more I guess Laos is something to consider.. I myself prefer Singapore, even not a shopaholic myself I like the modern life of the Singapore ppl..

Singapore? Nothing there... Sentosa Island, Night Safari... huhuhu... nothing... i will not visit the country that got alot of ZOO! Nothing... Laos... from there u can learn something... the culture, the food and no safari! They got their own identity not like Singapore... they r not Chinese, Indian, Malay or Western country... they just copy others. Huhuhu

Singapore is better considering that it is a beautiful country with good roads and train system but abundant with trees. The country is very clean and there is a systematic transportation system. Visit the Sentosa Island and you are like in paradise.
