If there is a pharmacy open still or even a grocery store, go get some contact lens solution and some throw away cotton pads (like the kind you use to remove nail polish with) to clean your cat's eye. After tomorrow when she sees the vet, throw that stuff out as eye infections are usually highly contageous to humans. Wash your hands well!
I am sure you are taking good care of your kitty. Hope she gets well soon.

My cat went through this about a month ago. We took her to the vet once it opened. Of course, like your situation, it seems like things come up when the Vet is closed, or on the weekend.
Anyway, it turned out to be a bacterial infection. They gave her some antibiotic liquid to put in her food, and some ointment to put in her eye.
For now, I would suggest you take a soft rag, dipped in warm water, and gently wipe it over her eyelids to help get the goop off. Then, if she'll let you, either dab it with another soft rag which has been dipped in mild, warm, tea - or warm milk. I know it sounds weird, but it seems to help.
Good luck.

Do not put neosporin ointment in your cats eye! Warm compresses and keeping the area clean will help. My vet recomends using a very very weak tea solution . Hot water then dip a tea bag quickly 4 times in the cup. Let the water cool down then use a eye dropper to put a drop or two in the eye. Tea has anti inflammatory properties and is soothing and completely safe. Red Rose tea he said not any of the flavored kinds of course. And get to vets ASAP.

Thats a good first step, some soothing eye drops would do good also until you can get her to the vet. She probably has an infection..

You did the right thing with the warm clean wash cloth. She will need some antibiotics from the vet.
I have found that you need to put the pills in the back of the mouth. Force the jaw shut and breath in her nose because it will force her to swallow pills.

There isnt much that you can do for an infection like that.
just keep it clean by removing any discharge with a warm soft cloth. untill you can take her to a vet ( ASAP!)

Wipe the area with a tissue. Wash your hands thoroughly, and wear thin latex or plastic medical gloves (if you have them and you're squeamish.) Apply a small amount of Neosporin ointment to your finger from a clean, new tube. Have someone hold the eye open and dab the ointment on the eye, or on the very edge of the lower lid (so that it is touching the eye). Do not touch the eye, just let the ointment touch it. Wash your hands again. Do it no more than twice a day until the vet can see her.
