i invited my best friend to a party , but she said she could come?

so i went to a party by myself.
as i arrived i saw her they with her own friend.
does it mean she just didn't want to go with me?
she didn't know that i would come

Something like this happen to me a few yrs ago and I confronted my now ex friend and she said she just changed her mind. I said then why didn't u call me to say u changed Ur mind, she claimed she was in a hurry and that she knew she would see me there( even though, when she saw me she had a surprise look on her face)

Then I found out later she just didn't want to go with me, I confronted her about that too, she said it was a lie because as I got to know her more I realize she was a two face backstabbing lier.

So what u may need to do is either get to the root of this or let it go alone with her
