I want to know how long my dogs will live. They have the same parents, but r one year apart and look so different. Sasha is 1year old and Charlie is 6monthes old.

Chihuahua= about 15 yrs or more
Dachshund= about 12-15 yrs
Rat Terrier = about 15-18 yrs.
so on the average...they probably would live about 14-16 yrs since they are a mix...they might even live longer....16-20 yrs.
its also up to YOU good food, exercise, vaccinations up to date regularly, and heart worm prevention. spaying and neutering your pets also helps them stay healthy longer...and may even add years to their lives.

Okay, just want to understand, are the dogs a mix of Chihuahua, Dachshund and Rat Terrier? I know that Chihuahuas can live for over 20 years if well cared for. I would say with the mix, maybe 10-15 years.

If you feed them with good type of dog food and keep them up to date on their vet visits your dogs should live on average 12- 15 years

small breed dogs usually live 12-15 years. 20 is not unheard of.

If you keep them healthy and safe they can live to be 15+ years old.
