I am trying to post my resume on Monster. I created it in wordperfect but they want it posted with a doc extension. When I try to save as .doc it is gibberish...Help please!!

install Microsoft Office word
make your resume there and save it
if u don't have access to microsoft word u can send me your resume so i can send u back in .doc

Instead of trying to upload or convert your wordperfect file to a MS word format you can copy and paste the wordperfect text using the 'Copy & Paste' function on Monster. You may have to tweak the documents alignment slightly afterwards to get it perfect.
Go to the same page where you would upload the MS word doc and choose the 'Copy & Paste' option on the left hand side of it instead. Follow the instructions. Hope that helps.
