Some seem to be demanding Scientific proof for God's existence. However, doesn't the laws of logic play just as important of a role? I mean science simply means "with knowledge". If you "know" something based on logic, isn't that just as good or do the "mighty scientists who never make errors" have to put it in writing?

No...Science does not prove by showing pictures. I'm sure, not too long ago, they had a bunch of nice looking pictures of a flat earth. It's funny how the Bible said it was round way before it was common knowledge.

And, by the way...philosophy and logic are not the same things. Logic is, "if a = b, and b = c, then a must be = to c."

It is because those demanding "proof" don't really want it, and would not accept it if you gave them an autographed photo.
They merely wish to try and distrub others or weaken someone elses faith, They are worst than a mere non beleiver, they are in actual war attacking the faith of others on purpose, a real tool of the devil.
And in general, not worth our time to deal with, since they will need thier own conviction

I don't understand why some would request scientific proof of a god. Science can only study that which is natural. If science could prove god then god would no longer be supernatural but just another natural part of life. I'd say that a logical proof of god would be enough. However, although attempts at providing such a proof do exist, they have their share of holes.
Science and logic are pretty much tied to one another but something can be logical without having scientific backing. You are basically asking if a philosophical proof of god could be accepted without there being a scientific proof. My answer is yes.

Yeah - this seems kind of silly to me too. Its like, 1 + 1 = 2 is not a scientific proof for these people. For example: 'Something can not come from nothing, therefore something has always existed and nothing has never been the state of existence' is not a proof that something has, in fact, always existed. I don't get it. What do they want? A fingernail clipping from God or something? Logic is all we have, people! You aren't going to find God's signature under a rock!

With logical deduction, you can produce a theory, that is why evolution is just a theory. Using you idea, we could calll it fact, but because it has not been conclusively proven it is simply a theory.
The beginnig of the universe is a theory, the existence of god is a theory that you subscribe to, the non existence of god is a theory that I subscribe to. There is no proof
The existence of Pluto was a mathematically derived theory until it was seen, then it becam fact.
Prechristian scientists realised the world was round and even calculated the circumference. It was the chruch that insisted it was a disk and flat because thay refused to recignise science

there is no such thing as "scientific proof" for God's existence. Science does not deal with something that's not observable, controllable, and repeatable. Science is ALL and ONLY about the physical world--the Universe. Since we can't observe God nor make a controllable experiment to test his existence and verify the tests via statistics(repetition) then we can't do science with God. Much like you can't do science with other so called spirits. It is also a mistake to say science disproves the existence of God because of the same reason above. No controllable, repetitive observations, no conclusion.
You got to appeal to Philosophy, the mother of Science, to give you answers.

There is no scientific evidence for God and if you apply logic to the problem the logical conclusion would have to be there is no God.
A loose - loose scenario.
God is part of a belief system if there was any kind of proof it would become knowledge. Therefore those who want to believe can but they should leave those who believe science and logic alone.

Logic dictates that the God of the bible does not exist. And, if any similar entity exists, he is useless for any practical purpose since he cannot even make his existence known.
Atheism is the only logical choice.
Anything else is a delusion.

Right on!
You make sense.
The planet Pluto was known to exist some 20 or so years before it was 'discovered', or found.
Logic told scientist it had to be there.
They were not disappointed.

Good point...
Please be aware that there is scientific and intellectual evidence for the existence of God (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/godsci/evidence.htm)
Cordially,
