You and You alone are the only one responsible for whether or not you get into heaven. nothing anyone else does can get you in or keep you out. For God judges the hearts of men, and the father knows those who are his own. The only was to the father is through a personal relationship with Christ. One day you will stand before God and he will ask you why he should let you into his heaven, and if your answer is, "because I wasn't tainted by the evil gays." Then guess what, wrong answer, you're not getting in. So since this question in it's self shows that you do not know that getting into heaven is a gift given by God to those who are save by the shed blood of his son, and that that salvation is through grace by faith in Christ and not by works or deeds, then no, you cannot go to heaven, not because of the taint of evil gays, but because you do not have a personal relationship with the only one who can save you from hell.

First of all, being gay does not make anyone "evil." There are good and evil gay people, just like there are good and evil straight people.
But now on to the real question, if you have no doubt as to your own sexuality, if you KNOW you are straight, there isn't a gay person on the planet that can change your mind.
I, unlike you, am not afraid of gay people. I have gay friends, and even gay family members. They are good people. I am not gay. I have no interest in having sex with another woman. My fiance is not gay. He's open-minded too, but knows he has no interest in having sex with another man.
We are straight. No one could convince us otherwise.
So....you must have doubts or "gays" would not present a temptation to you. Maybe you are gay? Maybe you are bisexual?
IF that is true, aren't you still the same exact person that you were yesterday? The only difference would be that perhaps you'd be a whole lot more honest.
I think lying to yourself and the world is a far greater barrier to heaven. Remember God sees all and knows your heart. If you are lying about being gay, he sees that and knows you are a liar.
God doesn't hate gay people, after all, he made them. However liars make themselves liars.
Incidentally, the bible doesn't prohibit homosexuality, that is a misinterpretation of the bible. Anyhow...believe as you choose to..but again, no gay would be tempting or tainting unless you have doubts about your own sexual preferences.

Hmmm......I answered your last question seriously, but now I'm thinking you can't be serious.
No, they're not tainting us, any more than the murderers, thiefs, rapists, liars (oops, did I hit a nerve), adulterers, Sabbath breakers (uh oh, another nerve), are tainting us. God will call His own out of Babylon before the end. He knows who are His and who are not. Now I do believe we can be desensitized and led to believe things that are not okay ARE okay, and that's the only way we can be tainted.
Another serious answer to a not-so-serious question. At least I hope you're not serious because if you are, you're giving all us rednecks a bad name. :)

Tainting us? You just asked this question as if they are spreading some infectious disease that you'd need a gas mask to protect yourself from! I'd be more worried about you 'getting into heaven' with such narrow-minded ignorance to the fact that GOD LOVES EVERYONE, even you, thinking that gay people are evil. Hitler said the same thing.
