Is it possible to take a song on a cd and remove the vocals? And, if so, what is the best program to use? I have a Toshiba Satellite Laptop, and RealPlayer, WMV, etc.

Yes it is. I do it all the time. Just save the songs you want to take the lyrics out of. Then download Music morpher Gold here at http://www.audio4fun.com/download.php?product=musicgold&type=exe
Its very simple to use! Where it says Morpher, press active, the select "Voice Extractor" from the drop down menu.

for the most part it wouldn't be possible because of the fact that most songs are mastered and not able to seperate vocals and music. the track would have to be before the mastering process and then you could use music production software to use it. If it is mastered you can use an equalizer to filter out the vocal frequencies but the quality would suck.
