Yes. In fact, it's an abomination. It says in Leviticus that man shall not lie with man as he would a woman. It's an abomination. I don't think God would have changed it.

Another example of homosexuality being a sin is in Genesis. Ever wondered what "sodomy" came from? From the city of Sodom and its twin city Gomorrah. The men would openly have intercourse with other men in the city. Because of this, God had to destroy the cities. Unfortunately, Lot, Abraham's nephew, was in the city. So he told Lot to leave and then he destroyed the city.

So to answer the question, yes it's a sin.

I can't believe the answers...what does GOD say and the Bible on this issue.
Romans 1:18-32

The Bible says that the sexually immoral will not inherit the kingdom.
The Bible also states that we are not to practice sinning. Hebrews 10:26 states that of we WILLFULLY sin, there are no sacrifices left to cover this. In other words, if we KNOW it's wrong, Calvary and His blood do not cover this sin.
Homosexuality is an abomination to God.

God describes Himself as a God of love. The primary commandments are to love your God with all your heart mind and soul, and then to treat your neighbor as you would treat yourself. And finally believe in your soul that Jesus Christ is the son of God.

If you can do all of that, you are doing pretty good in your life. Now, far as I am concerned being gay is not a sin. Here is why...

If God is a God of love, then how could he deny love to his children? That would more or less go against His inner core being wouldn't it, I think so. So, as long as you are leading a good life, how could God deny love. God isn't a God of rules and laws, but of love. If you love another guy so much, truely love them, then everything will be fine.

If you lust after another man, its the same as lusting after a woman. True love is all good, no matter what the other counterpart. But useing them, or lusting for them, or any of those other fake love things, none of that is good with either sex.

Thats my take on it.

If you believe you are what you do, then yes. But if it bothers you, let it go. It wouldn't be the end of the world. Most people figure out what they are not, before they understand who they are. I know it's a lot easier, to tell people what not to do, there are so many choices! But to tell someone what they should do with the rest of their life is not so easy...

No, I don't think so, but the act of homosexuality is a sin, that is clear.

The person themself cannot be a sin, but the act is.

No, though God apparently does. In the book of the Old Testament where he lays out the rules that the Hebrews have to abide by when living in Canaan he says "Thou shalt not tolerate any homosexuality."

I, however, do not see any problem with it.

I believe that God created humanity, including human sexuality.
I believe this gives Him the exclusive right to decide how that sexuality ought to be expressed.
God says homosexuality is a sin.
That's His perogative, since He is God.
