It was the summer of 1980.
My wife and I were arguing over my flirting with other women.
She stated that she was leaving.
I said God help me.
There was a knock at the front door, the man living upstairs answered, it was his entryway, ours was in the back.
it was the Pastor from my mothers church.
My wife was unable to leave because the Associate Pastor was at the back door.
We didn't answer, we talked it out, moved to a new town and started over.
We've been married now 33 years, and I'm now a Licensed and Ordained Preacher.
God works in strange ways sometimes but thank God He answered my simple prayer.

Nothing was going on in my life in the way of a crises,(except for the fact that I was in the Army). I felt that Jesus was knocking,so I invited him in. Within a week I was a different person, which was totally unexpected. That was over thirty years ago,and life has been quite a ride, and I'm still a christian with no regrets about God calling me in.

I was on a roof top getting ready to jump. Was an athiest and hated God and everyone connected with HIM. I cursed HIM so bad was so full of hate, of anger in so much pain here I was newly married to a wonderful man (both serving God today and still together) and wanted to die. was in the hospital and u could go up on the roof to smoke my roommate was a christian and not mealymouth not religous but sold out to God when I first met her I told her where to go and I'd kick her tail if she opened her mouth to me about God. She never talked to me about God but she did to anyone else that would listen see I'd tried religon before but even at 31 had never heard about Gods grace and HIS mercy and HIS love john 3:16 was foreign to me be4 that time. Even though I tried not to listen I heard and when I was on that roof with a cigarette in my hand I looked towards heaven and said God if your real I need u.I truely believe He took my heart and killed it and put a new heart in at the instant all the hurt, anger and pain was gone. That was over 15 years ago and although there have been struggles I wouldn't trade my life with God for anything He is everything to me and I love HIm with all I am and all I'll ever be.

I was a child of about 4or 5. I listened to the sermon that was preached at my grandfathers funeral. I decided I wanted to see him again. I have been a Christian ever since. I love my Lord and will serve Him forever no matter what condemnation I receive.
