It depends on what you mean by background? If you mean familial, there is a correlation between genetics and schizophrenia..i.e. having a family member with the disorder makes you more vulnerable towards it. However, it does not guarantee that one will develop the disorder. Usually there is a stressful period of someones life (late teens early twenties for men and late 20's, early 30's for women) where they suffer a schizophrenia break. I'm not sure what else you asking however...

If by background you mean that there might be something in their history that "caused" these symptoms, chances are that there is some genetic predisposition to the illness. Sometimes trauma can "trigger" the genetic aspect, but by and large, schizophrenia is a biologically-based, inherited illness.

Hearing voice's telling them what to do,it controls their mind and action's and their behavior.They to go to a mind specialist to get medication's in order to control it.Don't do anything to make their condition worse.Keep them calm and happy.no stress.

I think there may be an element of heredity, but schizophrenics come from all walks of life.

that's patient...anyway it must be something traumatic as the patient does not react to anything...the body literally shuts down
