It would be nice, but I think it's only wishful thinking. But there has always been a provision of the Revenue and Taxation code that takes away the tax exemption of any charitable organization that spends more than 10% of its income on political pursuits.

That's good. Now maybe some of the money churches use to help out the poor, provide homes for the homeless, feed hungry children, etc., etc., can be used by the government that liberals claim do such a good job at these things (New Orleans - Hurricane Katrina).
