You're funny. You're totally covered!

Yes, everyone is covered. However, if that is the only thing you want from Him and have no relationship built...then, why would you want to go to heaven in the first place? Heaven is something we humans should look forward to...not for the gold and precious stones that we would find there...but merely because we would be reunited with our Creator and Savior. Did you ask this question to continue sinning and die a sinner? Well, the truth is, everyone dies a sinner. No matter how much you try, you will not be able to stop sinning. We don't have to get approval from others to testify to this fact. Jesus ALONE was perfect (on earth) and He bore our sins on Himself. The only thing required of you is to figure out if you are willing to appreciate what He did for you. If you can't, it doesn't matter...if you can...it doesn't matter too...coz JESUS LOVES YOU and nobody CAN and WILL CHANGE THAT FACT!

Augustine, Luther, Calvin and many, many others answered this question centuries ago...unfortunately, pop theology and self-proclaimed bible-scholars (you know...the ones who read a book about the Bible and become an "expert") have missed this point.

God, who is sovereign, has elected from all of eternity who will believe and recieve salvation (John 6:32; Romans 9:18). Jesus died for the sins of those who are elect. Therefore, those who will never believe continually store up judgment for themselves through the sins they commit (Romans 2:5), and those who believe have their sins forgiven...even the very sin of unbelief. That sin of unbelief is both forgiven and RESOLVED, meaning that God moves spiritually in their hearts in such a way that they will believe in Christ.

This concept is traditionally called in Calvinism "Limited Atonement," and has reciently taken on a more appropriate name, "Definite Atonement". The atonement is how someone can be forgiven for sin...or how sin can be atoned.

(Acts 20:28 states that Christ purchased the Church [not the whole world] with his own blood).

Does this mean that only a certain number of people who are elect will be saved? ...Yes. Does this mean that you don't have the freedom to believe?...no! You have as much freedom to believe as you do to breathe. You are responsible for your choices. Let God handle the stuff that happens "from all of eternity".

:)

you better believe he died for your sin only after you ask him for forgiveness. But if you continue to do the same sin then forget it. but if you are born again and ask you wont want to do the same sin over . How can you not believe their is a higher being? Can you create a tree? from nothing? no dirt no seed no anything just think tree and it becomes. I don't understand that concept. I am a sinner, big time but I know that my heavenly father loves me and will forgive. Just as your earthly parents forgave you when you did wrong. You ARE NOT covered until you accept the fact that Christ died for your sin and rose again 3 days later. You have to invite him into your heart and ask him to show you the way. See even Christ gives you the freedom to choose.

It may sound simple, because it is. God created us for HIs purposes, and to love and enjoy friendship with him. We became separated from him when we chose sin ( i.e., putting ourselves in the most important place in our lives rather than him, choosing to follow what we want rather then the good we find in following him - which is a much greater life anyway, and doing things he says not to do like steal, lie, live together without marriage, etc.). God is perfect and his being cannot be joined with sin, so we are separated from him. That is why Jesus came, to show us God and teach us what we need to do to have eternal life ( read John chapter 3, Nicodemus asks him this question).
Jesus said the "only way to the Father is through Me", because his sacrifice took our place, a price we cannot pay on our own, but he did.
The fulfillment of the promise is through the acceptance of Jesus as your savior, and the guide of your life. To give him control and trust him, because you can. It is the meaning of life and the fulfillment of God's love. And it is the only true peace. When we accept and follw him, then we find abundant life and the gift of eternal life, but not apart from him.
Read all of the Gospel of John, or perhaps "The Purpose-Driven Life" by Rick Warren and God will reveal himself to you if you ask him, and open your heart.

He died to give all of us the opportunity to accept his forgiveness. If you haven't done that, I am sorry to say you are not 'covered.' To become a Christian, you must first admit you are a sinner. Then, you have to believe (and acknowledge) that Christ is the Son of God, that He died for your sins, and that He is the only path to Heaven. Finally, you must commit your life to Him and His guidance.

If the Jesus myth was true, he paid the price for all sin. There is no more penalty for sin.

Which gives rise to the question why did people invent a religion that requires people to do anything since there is no longer any penalty for sin?

The only way to be covered is through John 3:16.

There is no heaven, no hell except for self condemnation, no devil, and no sins. Its all a cover up of the truth because it was claimed heretical by the orthadox chatholic "church" . Christianity is not a religion. Here are some sites to look at:

No, it doesn't. As Jesus and God want you as a loyal slave. To call their name late at night, saying you'll always be there for them. That you'll worship them, and take them as your only true love.....and then you do really naughty things with them. Geez, what's wrong with everyone? Sin! Sin all you want, because you need to take responsibility for your actions, and realize that life isn't ment for you to just say "I'm going to heaven cause i'm a good little person". If it was, then just sit in your home, starve, dehydrate, and die. If Jesus did die for you, then your just going to bliss sooner.
