There's nothing wrong with it and if your a mad evil sort of person it may suit you but everybody has different opinions. As long as I know why alot of people don't like it,that willmake me alot happier.Even you friend that doesn't look like a satanist may be a satanist.

Because they fear what they don't understand. I am Wiccan, I do not follow the Satantic religion either, but as an American I will fight for others rights to practice what ever religion they chose.
As long is it hurts no one, and it is their choice to do so. This country was supposed to be founded on freedom of religion, that meant ALL religions.

Umm, let's see.
1. To be a Satanist, you have to accept the Christian notions of God, the Devil, Heaven, and Hell.
2. Then, you have to decide to go against God and worship the Devil. That is, oppose an all-knowing, all-powerful being in favor of the guy who tried the same thing thousands of years ago and was condemned to burn in Hell.
3. They think they are going to be treated specially in Hell because they were loyal to Satan on Earth. In reality, they'll probably just be thrown in the pit of fire with everyone else. (going by the Christian notions that a Satanist must accept in order to believe in Satan)
An atheist, at least, just doesn't believe that God exists. But Satanism is just plain idiotic.

I read a few paragraphs of a book on Satanism once; it sounded like some sad, lonely person ranting for attention. In plain English: hogwash.

Simply, Satanic sounds a bit like Satan; a big huge no no with Christians. Intolerance, uneducated (in what Satanism actually is) and fear.
Christians dislike it because its different and we all know how much they dislike religions that are not following 'God'.

Satanic beliefs tend to blend in rituals of imposing pain in others. I believe there is an emphasis on material gain. Most religions embrace love and compassion. Satanism does not. By hurting others for personal gain; one is only hurting oneself. Thoroughly examine this religion and its history before you commit to it.

Because satan is bad.
His sole purpose is to draw people away from God. As long as he does that, he doesn't particularly care what you do with your religion.
That's why alot of people don't like the satanic religion.

all the ones I had to endure were nothing but trouble and they did a lot of vandalism and caused a lot of ill feelings when they vandalized a baby's grave..... I was glad to move away from that area in NC.

i think this is because ppl feel you will go to hell and not to heaven and must religions saw satian as the evil or the one that started evil in the world but i am not choosing sides lol

Satanism does not worship the christian Satan. In fact, most of them dont worship anyone other than themselves.
