They have came up with any name for it, just to sneak it by the American people I guess they think everyone is stupid or something. The great America give-a-way or Destroy the middle class program.

Because they want to differentiate Temporary Guest Workers with Permanent Residents.
Permanent Residents are here Permanently.
Temporary Guest Workers work until they complete their jobs. Today, the people that would become Temporary Guest Workers typical do live in the USA as if they were Permanent Residents. The only difference now would be that they would be required to pay taxes and have some sort of legal authority to be working. The Temporary Guest Worker program isn't actually a new program. The only change to the program is the expansion of the number being accepted to the program.

We should call it like it is,"Amnesty."
The Guest worker program is like a mini-bandage for an arterial bleed. People are kidding themselves if they think it will work.
With the anchor baby policy, all they have to do is have a kid and they can stay. And since most of them overstayed a visa previously, it will be no different from that. Then, we will be right back where we started.

I think it began as a term used to describe temporary migrant workers needed for the summer crops. They DID return home as they were only needed during the summer months.
Unfortunately the term seems to have expanded to a whole lotta people wanting to bypass the normal immigration system to get into the US!

Because the great American traitor, Bush wants to give it another name besides amnesty to try to fool the American people. He is under the assumption that because he has a low IQ, we must have as well. He has no loyalty at all to this nation and could care even less about the middle class. I'm leaving out his butt buddies McCain and Kennedy. They are right up there with him trying their best to sell us out.

All this will do is allow the government to attach an employer sponsorship to a person and gobble up the employment taxes generated by these people.
