Because God is or consider's himself "male" in the sense that "life" comes from males, and the "form" of the child comes from the mothers. So, since god created life, He is "male" or considers Himself such. He means no disrespects and considers females very, very important to the Human race.

Angels that are mentioned in the bible are all mentioned in the masculine sense. Also, they have been provided no ability or reason to procreate, and most likely God would consider such an act between two Angels unnatural and a sin, outside of His creation.

The reason why God is invisible because He is a Spirit. Don't know why He sent male messengers instead of female.

God will not give you a sure sign until your faith is sure, as for females he uses them all the time, they are often his best servants. He does however expect the man to be the leader in the family but he wants the man and the woman to work together in all things. Women are not second nor less in Gods eyes, they just have a different role to play in his plan than do men.

God is spirit, we are flesh. Got something against sending a male? Maybe there is no female messengers but only male? Wouldn't matter to me which it was as long as I got to see them and talk to them and know what they are.

I believe God the Father is not visible to us because if He revealed Himself it would blow our heads off.

If by messenger you mean angels, Jesus said that when we are in heaven, we will be like the angels, neither male nor female.

Here is the answer. MEN wrote the bible. So Men would make God a man. Also it had to do with the father thing.

Men look up to a father , and it made controlling women sound more biblical.

God's glory is too much for us to look directly upon. We would quite literally die if we were to see him face to face, because it would be too much to process. He's infinite. God for that reason came down as a man, Jesus Christ the Son.
God came down as a man instead of a woman for the reason that He placed man as the head of woman. Here's where people start thinking it means that Christians are all sexist, but let's finish the thought before we jump to that. Because man is the head of woman, it would be inappropriate for God to come down as a woman, because women had absolutely no authority in that day in any sense, due to the teachings of the Scriptures. If you were a woman, you had no place to tell anyone what they should and shouldn't do.

Now back to the sexist accusations that come from this. Why is man the head of woman? Why aren't they of equal authority? God created men and women for different purposes. Men are to be the leaders, and women the supports. It is much like building a bridge. You build a bridge for people to drive or walk over. That is the purpose of the bridge. However, without supports, the bridge would collapse. It is not a case where women are less important than men, their role is to support the men that lead the homes. Because men have more authority than women, they also have more responsibility. When Adam and Eve sinned, Adam was not the first to eat the fruit, Eve was. But God blames Adam. He was responsible for her actions, which means he takes the blame for her making mistakes. Men are to love women, not to abuse them. There are more verses found in Scripture about men's responsibilities to women than women's responsibilities to men. Men are to love, women are to respect. Men need respect the way women need love. It is to halves that fit together.

So, God is revealed to us through his creation, rather than physically manifested as God the Father before us because we just wouldn't be able to handle it in person. God came down as a man instead of a woman because God deemed for leadership to be the man's responsibility in society.
