if you can't get a link directly to the swf file and click save as, then I think the firefox extension called video downloader does it. I think you just go to the page with the flash file, and click the icon in the status bar. I had the extension, but uninstalled it because I never used it.

flash file are .swf files
when u browse any webpage with flash file
the swf files will save in your cash directory
i mean internet temporary files
u can find the swf files there
it s the path in windows xp:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

Flash is now owned by adobe. ver 9 is out, I think. I'm running v8.
