just hit very hard and hope! there is never any guarantee of which balls will go in off the break,if there was it would make pool the easiest and most boring game in the world!

Yahoo has made the ball motions off the break almost 100% random. In about 1000 games, I have sunk the 9 off the break once or maybe twice.
