OK so they are 12 years old and don't know any better.
So why don't they have a clue? They put kids on computers in kindergarten these days, don't the kids get taught anything about protecting themselves? Parents don't check to see what the kids (12) are up to on the net?

in school you are only allowed to get on school approved sites, there would be no reason to tell kids watch for this or watch for that. at home thats were the parents come in, i know parents dont want to or have time to wtch thier kid on the interenet so thats why this happens that people are abusing kids and luring them out to molest them. it is the parents fault. i watch my kid everytime they are on the internet, my 13 year old son just asked me for a computer of his own(we have two laptops in the home), i told him for what??? there is no reason a 13 year old kid needs a laptop. parents need to be involved in thier kids lives, im by my kids when they are on the interenet all the time. what are you looking at what are you reading, why do you need to research this or that. get involved. one day my daughter(6) tried to look for a web site asked me how to spell a certain thing and i told her let me type it in for you, we were looking for the dolls web site Bratz. well I typed in Brats and it came up with lots of pornographic sites,if i let her do it on her own, what would she have seen and how would it have affected her? i will never know and it will never happen again becasue i am always there.kids dont know the dangers out there.and thats why we have to warn them, it is our respondsiblity not the school, we have teach our kids, we have let our kids know of the dangers out there, of the bad people.

I agree! Most think that because they are online,behind closed doors they are safe.It is so hard to believe that anyone can have tis false security after all that has been on TV and in the news papers. And I cannot believe that a parent isn't paying closer attention to what their child is doing online!

nobody cares about young ones and not even the parents they are just like whatever will get them away from me for over 20minutes so yea
