My cat is asleep on his fave small blanket...question is,it's all rumpled up.Do I......risk waking him up by making the blanket smooth....or, leave it cos he's asleep....or, run through the town firing a rocket launcher at public buildings and police vehicles because I'm bored with cats blanket questions?

Well, you may do well to find some hobbies.
Leave the cat's blanket rumpled until he wakes up. Then smooth it out... Make a little "nest", perhaps.

Why not just leave the cat and the blanket alone! Why would you want to disturb him obviously he is perfectly content. Whats the need for straightening his blanket? Is it in the way or?

cats usually like sleeping on uncomfortable-looking things. my cat once slept upside down on a pile of knocked over books.
btw, if you fire rocket launchers you're sure to wake up your cat, so no.

If your cat was uncomfortable on the blanket he wouldn't sleep on it. Leave him.

They like their blanket rumpled, mine do this too. Just let him sleep, he is happy that way. ^_^
