Awhile back, my son's mom left me for a thug. This devistated me and left me extremely lonely. I often blammed myself for the break-up and kept thinking of ways to correct the problem but it seemed as that no matter how hard I tried the situation couldn't be corrected.
After a short period of time I confided many of my problems to an openly gay co-worker. He mentioned to me the reason he went gay is because women took him for granet. We began to hanging out and becomming closer.
One Friday Night after work I went over to his place to watch the WB Line-up.
After about an hour into the enjoyable evening he told me that he had feelings for me and told me how special he thought I was. Within a few minutes we were kissing passionatly. Then he began removing my clothes while carressing & licking me all over my body. After that he held me tight all night.
Since then we have sort of become boyfriends. I had never felt this happy before. Is this ok considering my past?

Of course it's ok. What gives anyone the right to judge you for what you like or what makes you happy. Follow the road that puts a smile on your face and close your eyes to those that do not understand. Your first responsibility is your own happiness. Life is too short. Have fun and enjoy it to it's fullest while you can. I wish you luck.

I'm heterosexual by the way. I wanted to mention that to set an example for all the homophobic idiots that will no doubt give you crap about this. Ignore them and enjoy your life.

If this is for real maybe you were always gay and thats why she went with a "thug". What past? You tried to hide the fact you were gay by being with a woman and having a child with her?

IT'S FINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course it's perfectly fine. If you're happy, then it's fine. Trust me I've been going through the same thing. Except I always knew I was bisexual. So, I think it's okay, so stop worrying and just let it go. Be yourself, be happy. You deserve that.

i would think that it is OK since it is your choice to be gay or not. the past is something we need not worry about.

you go gay because you had it in you, not because of your past (like women taking you for granted)..
