Liver, dough-bait, stink-bait, these baits work for small eating sized channels, but a Channel that big (which is merely impossible) is going to want cut-bait. Cut-bait just about ONLY catches bigger Catfish. I think your Catfish is not identified correctly, I'm sure it's probably just an albino Blue Catfish which will reach 100-pounds and above. Use a stout rod, heavy line, and a quality reel to land the fish. As I stated the best bait would be cut-up fish, either Shad or Bluegill, which are readily available. If there's any Bluegill in the pond, catch a bunch of them and keep them to use as cut-bait.

My Dad has a catfish pond and we have found that chicken livers work the best for catching them.

Well as the boat partner for the guy who has won the Cape Fear Big Cat Tournament 7 times in a row..... We use brim or crappie... about the size of your hand... rigged to a 0000 stainless steel hook on "550 cord" (parachute cord).... our average fish on the last three tournaments was 37 pounds.... and our largest is a 55 pound.

Small sunfish work very well for large catfish and crawfish works pretty good for smaller size cats.

Cut mackerel works well. Use large slabs for the bigger fish.
