i could care less if a guy is fat, its what is inside of them that counts. one of my best friends (a guy) is what you would call fat. i would of gone out with him before i found my hubby but at the time he was dating my best friend (girl). the one thing my mom taught me when i was growing up is that it doesn't matter what someone looks like, its whats inside that counts. and for those who wont get to know you just because of your weight, then they are just stuck up.

If you are still calling the opposite sex (or even the same sex) 'girls' then don't worry too much right now. Work on your personality and your ability to communicate and once you are out of school, you'll be more likely to find someone who likes you for your mind and personality. Girls are immature and selfish until they are 25-30. You may find a diamond in the rough before then, as long as you are looking at inner beauty as well. Good luck to you.

It depends if you are looking for dating advice, or just advice on friendships in general. I really cannot fathom why people (both men and women) think it is okay to discriminate, make fun of and generally disrespect fat people, and society seems to think it is okay. Please just look for people with good heart; we are out here. Someone that will accept you when you're large and be with you when you win the battle of the bulge. God bless and good luck.
P.S. I don't know your age, but please give it time. It takes some people longer to grow up than others to realize what's really important in a person and not be so shallow.

Unfortunately this is the reality of life. people like to surround themselves with beautiful things. They are attracted to a healthy look....and even though I may not fall into this profile, pretty and healthy wins in this life. It is true that girls and guys have to judge you on something and sight is a very quick sense~ so it make sense that if you are atteactive, people are attrated to you. Why do you think we buy magazines and watch movies full of beautiful people???
My suggestion, although it may sound harsh, is to work with what you've got....try to lose some weight, do your hair, try a cool outfit on and feel better about yourself. Confidence is sometimes as attractive as beauty itself and people can sense it even if you're not drop dead gorgeous. Hey even Brad Pitt wasn't always the hunk he was....he perfected his look.

i'm a girl its first how you look then the personality. i like fat people i think they're REALLY nice, but they are more friend quality not going out quality.

its not always ur appearance, its ur personality, i liked ugly / fat guys b4, just act like ur weight doesnt affect u.
