I agree about Pilates because it lengthens and strengthens. I also think you should moderate your sit ups too and you can't quite do that with ab lounge. and lastly, one thing that someone once told me that's completely non-harmful is Creatine, although it might not be spelled that way. but anyway, your body naturally has that to give you energy while you do resistance training on it, but by adding that in your drinks and stuff, you can weight lift longer thus better muscles. and it's not like pills or anything that I'm sure of, and it's given a lot of guys I know great results.

It is not that you're "weak"-- Weak would be sick, ill, or unable to do daily things (like walk!) I can't do 50 push-ups in a row, I'm lucky I can even do 10! Try this: Girlie Pushups. I can do a ton of those, and they do to same thing as regular ones. Do the same thing with your arms, but put your knees where your feet would be so you're like crawling. Hope it works.

Get beginners Yoga for Abs by Yoga Zone. I talked my hubbie into doing it and he's like WOW. It does work. Start with the first half of the video only for awhile...you will also build your arm strength and will easily be able to pushups after this training.

When your doing push-ups it is more your arms that you are working. I doubt this would give you a six-pack.
You should get one of those big exercise balls that you sit on and do sit ups on. They really work a lot better and faster than normal sit ups on the floor and are much more comfortable. You can buy them really cheap in supermarkets (I got mine for about £3)

sounds fantastically strong conventional, yet with a view to construct potential, you may want to enhance the quantity of weight you carry, not in simple terms the fashion of repetitions. so next time you're doing push-ups, have someone carry a weight on your back, or carry one in all of your legs up interior the air, same is going for sit down-ups.

You should get a Pilates videotape or DVD -- this form of exercise focuses intensely on your core muscles, which include all your abs. Sit-ups only work one region of the abdominal muscles -- Pilates works them ALL.

Just start out doing maybe 20, then each day progress a little. It will make the process much more easier, and probably more effective.
