I heard this story once about a little boy, I think it describes it pretty well. (true story) A little boy (6yrs old) lived next door to an elderly man and his wife. The little boy would visit often and got to know the older couple well. They had no children, and he had no grand-parents so it worked out well for the three of them. One day, the elderly woman passed away and the old man would sit on his front porch sobbing for his wife. The little boy saw this one day and walked over the porch where the old man was sitting and crawled up in his lap. (the child's mother witnessed this thru the window in her kitchen). About an hour later the little boy came home and the mother noticed that the old man was still sitting on the porch but no longer was he crying. The mother asked the little boy "what did you say to him", the little boy replied "nothing mother, I just helped him cry" That is what love is.

Love is when you keep control of your temper and listen to what she has to say, and she does the same for you.
Love is when you don't sweat the little stuff.
Love is when you stand up and back up your husband or wife when they are in a corner.
Love is what happens when you get a pie in the face and laugh about it.
Its when you let her take all the blankets off your side of the bed.
Love is when you sacrifice something you hold dear, just to be with him/her.

love is simple and complex.
love is hot and cold
love is unselfish
to be in love is to know a greater gift than any other. you want to make the other person happy, you will do all you can to please that person. you feel safe and so sure of the relationship. the only down fall in love is that it is one sided most of the time but when two people are in love with each other it is as perfect a a panting on the wall. love can be a rollercoaster it can be a great exprence or a ruff ride

Love is when you are completely comfortable talking to that person about anything. Its when you care more about them than anything in the world. its when you can't stand the thought of being without them. its when they mean everything to you. Its when you need them to be able to function, its when they make everyday better even if you only see them for a second. Its when they make you happier than you have ever been, and scare you half to death when any type of harm comes to them. They are the one thing you need, and the only thing you want.

That is the most hardest thing to explain to anyone...Love is something you have to live....No book can give you the real meaning of love...Plus no one person can really explain love to you because what works for them might not work for you...You can live to be 99 yrs old and just then find out what the meaning of love to yourself is...I hope that helps.....Also what might be love to me or the next person might be the exact opposite to you...
