you could get a copy of the deed at registry of deeds
if she has willed it to you , otherwise it wouldn't do you any good

If you mean a "grant deed" that identifies the owner(s) of a property, it's public records and you can locate it at the County Recorder's Office of where the property is. Cost of getting a copy is minimal, maybe only $10 or less. A grant deed is usually no more than 2 or 3 pages.

Go to the county assessors office in the county where your sisters house resides and ask for information on the house.and you can go to a title and escrow co and ask for a copy if they dont have it there ask if they can look up what office it is listed under by giveing them the address.you might have to BS a little to get it by saying you are interested in purchaseing it.and that you want all the details on the house.

Most likely you need to contact the county court house and find out what steps to take to aquire the deed, documentation etc.

I think that is a question to ask someone at city hall or hall of records. You can actually ask for the house's file by the address as if you were researching information regarding a particular house that you are going to buy to check out its taxes, sq. footage etc. Hope that helps.
