Do you ask a girl again out after the second date?

Lets say, you have gone out once, and you like her, how long should you wait to call her again? And is it better if you wait for her call/email? ( just to play hard to get)

me personally I let the guy call me. If he wants another date he will call but dont wait a real long time or she might date someone else
