its important that you be careful on line with men. they are not always what they seem. not saying this in your case but if he has not followed through with meeting you and this has been going on some time now chances are he never will. and its sad to say but there are allot of men out there that need attention and get a thrill by doing this at someone else expense. hopefully this works out if that's what you want but let him know you want to see him and if he is moving then what are the chances? if he was moving why did he keep saying he wanted to hook up with you? remember choose your on line partners carefully. good luck

The internet is a great way to meet people and to maintain a real life long distance relationship......but you've got to have that in person contact to know if it's going to work. If you've met this guy before and found that you've really clicked in person, then sure go for it and keep talking to him online.....but also on the phone. If you keep it as just an internet relationship, you'll never get the full idea of what the other is actually like, and if you do take your relationship off the internet - you'll likely be disappointed.

Internet love only flourishes into real love if you can put faces into those chat rooms. But now that he moves far away, it means you two will have no chance to meet each other and I am sure you know that there is no point in waiting or hoping. And also be careful about the perverts online.

I met my guy online.. 5 years ago.. best thing to ever happen to me.. so.. yes.. it can last...
But... you need to be aware of all the liars online.. find out everything you can about someone before you meet.. and don't believe you love them..or vice versa.. before you set eyes on each other.. it is not true.. until you actually meet.. then you will know for sure.
Meet him in a safe place.. with people around.. DO NOT let him know where you live... until you are sure about him.
I'm assuming you are over 18??? if so... take the chance.. who knows!

First of all if you are under 18 yrs the answer is NO you should not meet him live because of many many reasons...But there is no problem hooking up with someone on the net as long as it stays there...If you are over 18, then do what you want...But be careful....

I'm in a cyber relationship right now honey and let me tell u this will get ugly. if he means so much to u and their is nothing stopping you two from being together then by all means go ahead and see where it could go. but it would really help if you were a really good judge of character if you think he's the one for you then do it honey, if not ,then just let it roll under the carpet honey you'll find someone.

From what I have heard it usually does not last, but I know for a fact that sometimes it does. My sister met her husband online and they are now happily married for 5 years and have two great kids. I think it's rare but it does happen. Just remember to always be EXTREMELY careful about people you meet online. They are not always what they make themselves out to be!
