Just because not every "transitional species" left fossil evidence behind doesn't mean we can't see the overall "story" and process of evolution.
If you get enough frames of a movie in the right order, you'd still be able to follow the story based on knowing where you started from and what it led to.
It seems like everyone using the Missing Link arguement to try to disprove evolution should piece together all the non-missing Links and watch that movie.

Don - please, fossils do exist, they're real, your arguement is not.

Aw, look. Their faith is built on a foundation of hypocrisy and deceit as it is! Don't steal away from them the only other emotional crutch they have! Have you no HEART, man!!!
;)
To those that don't know, Isn't there around 25 frames PER SECOND in film? I doubt taking only every other frame would make a blind bit of difference to the movie!

It may tell the same story but let me see if I can explain this to your feeble little mind. If you took every other frame out of Superman and replaced it with every other frame from Spiderman then NO it would not tell the same story. Even if some of the frames look similar...both contained Super heroes.
And, by the way, gethsemenerose should win for best answer.

actually most movies have so many frames per second that taking every other one out wouldnt even be noticed. However the problem with the Missing link is more like that of a chain. Try to ride your bike with a missing link!!!

It depends on the shutter speed. You may be missing details, like the brief moment in time that God stepped in, and initiated a massive increase in mutation.
The stratas that contain fossil evidence of mutation/evolution, are separated long periods with little or no change in mutation/evolution. The former also end abruptly.
As with most analogies, the devil is in the details...

Actually I think taking key parts out of a movie would entirely change the movie even making it impossible to understand or follow. It would be a very poor movie indeed. Try making a puzzle without all the pieces it is a very difficult and frustrating.

It's a valid point. But it depends on the movie.
If i had missed a couple of frames in the last 5 minutes of The Usual Suspect, then i would have probably explained the entire movie in another way.

Who's trying to disprove evolution? Just that some of us think God planned evolution. Nope, if you took every other frame out it wouldn't tell the same story.

If you take every other frame out of a movie, and try to watch it, it won't make much sense. And it wouldn't be much fun trying to figure out what the movie is really all about.
I'm not trying to prove or disprove anything, I just think that was a really lousy analogy.

The fact is..if we had links..we would have billions if not trillions of missing links all over the place..we would be stepping on them all the time..every cave...every back yard would have to full 20 feet high all over the earth.
but there not...end of story!

From a movie, sure. And it would be over a little sooner than it would have been keeping the frames in.
