Valhalla sounds good to me too compared to the traditional
idea about angels flying around or playing harps on clouds.
My ideal heaven is something I can't quite conceive of for some
reason,I don't know what it would be.

Well, let's see. You may not agree, but according to the Bible you have one of two choices, Heaven or Hell. I pray for Jack that answered this question before me because Jack, that's exactly what hell is going to be, eternity spent away from the presence of God.
Take time to read what the Bible says about both places and you'll definitely see that Heaven will not be boring! Hell, unfortunately, will be more terrible than you can imagine.
My ideal Heaven is exactly what is described in the Bible, a place of rest and peace. A place where there will be no more pain, sorrow, or death. God is going to be showing those in Heaven the riches of His grace, all the magnificence of His awesome power, and all the wonders of His Person throughout all the ages to come. What is boring about that?

Yes, the "Christian heaven" would sound boring to most people who aren't Christians. Most people like to imagine that heaven is a place where you can do whatever you want, as much as you want, no matter how evil or selfish it may be. Most of these people have no idea what the biblical heaven is really like (i.e. a place of complete righteousness and obedience to God). It's not surprising that many people would be turned off by this concept, especially if they don't particularly care for Christianity.
Of course, according to the Bible, God will not force anyone to go to heaven who doesn't want to go there. So if you find it so boring that you would rather go to "that other place" (i.e. hell), that's your choice. And if the Bible is true, there's no "alternate heaven" of your fantasies that you'll be going to when you die.

From the Christian point of view heaven could NEVER be boring. Heaven is a place of perfect peace and we will spend our time praising God for who He is and for providing an atonement for our sins so that we could share eternity with Him. Our finite minds here on earth cannot possibly comprehend the wonders of heaven, that's why we have to make a transition from mortal to immortal. So, we cannot possibly believe that we would be bored. Heaven will be perfection. I don't think you could "choose" an ideal heaven because it is perfection and completeness. I don't think any thing I could describe right now could ever compare to that. It's something I have never known, but because my faith is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, I look forward to finding out! I hope that you do too!

Are you kidding, walking on streets of gold, gazing at gemstone gates that are 15feet wide by 15 feet high - sorry, but I haven't seen any gemstones of that size here on earth! Worshiping with other people who want to do nothing more than worship God for who and what he has done in our lives, to live and be about God's business without pain and suffering, tears and worries, and to actually be known and never misunderstood by anyone I encounter, to hear no cursing, no gun shots, no violence, but to truly no peace and love and joy, all the things we say we want here, to live in a mansion that won't have to have repairs, to not have to worry about being fat or thin, or if my hairs just so! I think heaven sounds pretty ideal just the way it is - because to take anything of this earth into it - would be to take into it some of this earth's problems, and I'm looking forward to not having them!! Admittedly, I'll miss the humanly loving of my husband, but I'm sure there will be a kind of loving that we cannot know here on earth that will more than take it's place!

Mmmh if i consider the christian heaven vs. sitting around a table with a lot of dumb viking warriors that got nothing of their life than slaughtering enaough fellow human beings for the entrance ticket to a windy wooden hall i`d rather take the christian hell instead of those two lousy vacations.

My belief in heaven is this: we make our own heaven or hell. Yes, in my heaven, I would be with God. But we aren't going to floating around on clouds with harps. We will be like a big family. I think that we will have family renunions- with bbq, laughter, jokes, games, all that. We have the opportunity to learn and grow. We will be able to ask questions that weren't answered during our lives. Christ will be able to walk among us and talk with us. We won't have the need to sleep, but we will still be able to eat.. and that in my opion is worth it!! I think of it more as utopia then heaven-perfect and with everyone you love right there with you.

Not boring at all, from a Christian's point of view. My ideal heaven is whatever God provides. Nothing could be better. God Bless you.

I suppose an eternity of peace, joy, no pain, no tears, no sorrow, no evil, no peril could sound boring. However, when I think about spending eternity with my Creator. The One that made all things... how could anything be more exciting?
