im 15 and i am not quite sure whats wrong, lately i lash out on my bf for every little thing, if he forgets to call, or hes too tired to talk or if i feel like hes ignoring me, i get so mad at him and he gets frustrated then when i hang up or walk away i hate myself and ask y i do that when i kno he cares bout me, i also get annoyed with my friends for every lil thing sometimes, i have no energy, i just like to sit around, i eat when im bored, and i always feel tired and sleep during the day but cant sleep much at night, then sometimes i get really hyper and say random strange things and act like a weirdo my brother (13) has asked if i was high, then other times i feel fine. is it bipoler disorder, pms, just normal teenage weirdness or something else please help!

I was the same way, and found out when I was 23 that I was bipolar. I would go to your doctor and tell him abouit this. It could just be "hormones" however. It took my doctor like 4 years to figure it out. If there is a history of it in the family it could be. But I would still see your family doctor and let them know.
GOOD LUCK

Well, first things first. Have your mom take you to your doctor for a physical. You may have 'teen blues' or something, but if you are able to acknowledge that your behavior is not like you, you are lacking energy, bored, tired and sleep - there may be something else to consider. You might just need some additional vitamins - you might have an iron deficiency - and your body will react to lack of substance in strange ways. Could be hormones (out of whack), or there may be something else way back in the back of your mind that you aren't aware of. (Sometimes family pressures, stress and issues can dismantle us). Start with the check up first. Talk to your mom. She might be able to help you understand some of this. The best thing is to make sure you talk with your boyfriend. Let him know you've been having some weird feelings and strange behaviors and you may have reacted negatively toward him - apologize - to him and your brother. You never want your loved ones to witness you stressing and being chewed out when they are not at fault. They will love you more for being honest and recognizing your situation. In fact, your boyfriend might be able to help. Good luck to you.

No worries sweetheart. It doesn't sound like bipolar to me.
Your brain is no where near done its development and with the mix of puberty, your brain is topsy turvy. All teens go through this. It's perfectly natural!
=) if you feel yourself getting flustered..STOP....breath...and tell yourself to calm down. It sounds silly, but it works. =)
If you feel you need to, you can enroll in an anger management class. They'll teach you ways to calm down.
I'm 22 now and I had the same problem when I was your age. I went to a local teen centre for someone to talk to. It's hard, I know.
Don't worry, as you mature this will go away. It will more than likely be gone by the time you reach 19. That is when your brain axons are fully connected =)

What you are describing is very normal for teenagers. Remember your hormones are still raging and this can cause wild mood swings. In the future try to be more aware of how you are feeling. If you are feeling upset or angry then before responding to anyone: stop and THINK about what you are going to say. If you know it will be rude or out of character then "bite your tongue" and think of something else to say instead. This is going to take some practice. Good Luck.

oh, okay
ummmmmmmm
you prob need to find some way to vent all your frustration
try yoga, exercise, karate
for your friends just every once in a while, let them know that youre still their bff, but youve just been a little cranky (a card, cupcake, friendship bracelet will help too)
about your bro, next time hes busy just say you understand and you know the feeling and then say how about later or tomorrow at 2:00 etc.
i think your just going through a stage, thats okay

could be standard teenage agony. could be bipolar.
Make your life easy - talk to a MD or psychiatrist or even a neurologist soon about the mood swings so you can find out if something could make your life easier and less, well, extreme.
Saying "random strange things" sounds like an interesting symptom.

Are you on your period? I get that way, too. If it happens all the time and not just at the time of the month when you are on your period, you probably need to see a Dr. You may be Bipolar. - Only one way to know for sure. Go see a psychiatrist.
Good Luck.

You sound like my ex-girlfriend. I can tell you that she had a thyroid disorder that she blamed for everything. I don't know if that is medically possible, but I told her to take some pride in herself and make her own decisions. Blaming your problems on a questionable medical condition is lame.

It might be teenage weirdness but most likely there is something bothering you that you won't admit to yourself or a problem that exists but your not consciously aware of it. Whatever the problem; find it, address it, solve it. It'll do you a world of good.

Sounds exactly like most teenagers but no harm in having a doctor run a few tests on you.
