The reason there are apes today is because they came from lesser apes. We did not come from those apes, humans evolved from the apes that left the safety of the trees. Those that stayed in the trees evolved into a different species. Stop saying "if evolution is so true, then why are there still apes". Any saying that in this answer will be reported, along with stupid posts and namecalling.

Chill, bud! Your talking to xtians like they are rational, logical minded people! It won't work I'm afraid! Combating the effects of such clever brainwashing will never be successful by textual debate alone, xtians even use their own scripture out of context to defend themselves, for gods sake! How can you get through that kind of self-deceit!?
Just let them keep making fools out of themselves by saying it, the xtians who have actually taken the bold step of educating themselves realise the inaccuracy of that comment so don't use it, only the ignorant do, and I'm afraid you'll NEVER get through to them!
Have you even considered the possibility some could just be saying it to wind evolutionists up? (it seems to be working!)

:)

OK, I got to class late.
Let me see if I got this straight. The apes I see today evolved from lesser apes. The better apes climbed down from the trees, and moved into a nicer neighborhood, and that's why I have an automatic dishwasher and air conditioning today.
Or did I miss something?

Well, man has evolved, but from other forms of man, not apes. What's with the reporting though? I feel like I could anger you somehow, so I can't really express much of my view here.

I'm glad we, me being a follower of Jesus Christ, can agree that we did not come from apes! I personally came from created mankind by God and was knit in my mother's womb by God's design.

I'm curious though - since I agree we did not come from modern apes, will I be reported? I do not feel this is a stupid post, as it is my opinion, as you have given yours and I have not judged it; and I have not referred to you in any unflattering terms.
