I feel like God has called me to sing. But at the same time there is doubt in my mind.How do I know?

If God has called you to do something He will confirm the direction you think you are to go in several times. You need to have God's confirmation. One way He will confirm something is through His word. Another type of confirmation is provision- God will provide everything necessary to get you where your going. Thirdly, when it's time for you to step out, He will open the doors and show you where to go and what to do.
God has a perfect time for everything in our lives, and you need to be sure not to run ahead of Him. The more sophisticated a calling is, the more the Lord has to prepare you to walk into your spiritual destiny.
Serving the Lord is not as simple as choosing to do what feels good and setting out to do it, it's taking the time to wait on Him in prayer to make sure you are in His will. I've had the Lord put things in my heart that took years to come about. Find out what He wants, when He wants, and obey! Be prepared for the process to take time.

That is a very good question. Sometimes it is hard to know but I believe when the time is right that someway some how you will know beyond a doubt. Two years ago God called me to start evangelizing. I knew for a long time it was what God wanted but I didn't know when the timing was right. Well when it was time I knew it. It was like a light went off inside my head. Me and my family have been traveling full time on the road for two and a half years now and God has not failed me yet!!! The vast majority of the time the doubt comes from fear of being wrong. Fear simply means False Evidence Appearing Real! I encourage you to sing with all you heart soul and might!!

Just pray about it. Tell Him exactly how you feel, and ask Him if it is truly His will. You will get the answer you need. Just pay attention. He gives us answers in so many ways. Also, if it is what He's calling you to do, then don't worry about how it will happen. He will provide whatever means necessary for it to happen. This could also be His sign. If He opens up a door, you should walk through it.
I'm currently doing the same thing. I have an idea what my calling is, but I myself have to make sure I am correct.
Everyone else definitely has a point. Thank you all. If you have a feeling that takes hold of you, and you can't shake it off, it most likely definitely is God. As long as you don't go against Him in doing so, it is His will; and from what I see in your question, you truly want to follow Him and obey His will. Good for you. As you begin to pursue singing, if there is a peace that passeth all understanding, you will know that you were hearing correctly. Do not mention your notion of this calling and if someone mentions the fact of your singing to you, this is called confirmation of the Holy Spirit, and as you ask God to confirm within you what he is leading you to do, ask for scripture(s) to express to others how you were certain - if it is God calling you to sing, I'm almost certain the verse will have something to do with music or following the Lord and it will be his way of confirming for you. It is not a sin to have doubts - it is a sin to let doubts not cause you to pursue.

I would say that if you have the ability to sing well, and you feel led to pursue this ministry, then it is probably God's will. You would definitely have peace about the decision (and probably no peace if you shrugged it off). You may have fear or apprehension, but you will still have peace.
Do you have the Holy Ghost? That would help.

do u know how to sing and do u have skills? My friend is a singer she knew from the moment she was born and she never had doubts :)

It may go away for a while, especially if you actively deny it. But, GOD is patient, and will call you to do it again , and again, and again.

If there is doubt then you must ask God to clarify it for you. There should be no doubt.
