I have heard most of the secular arguements for why they don't acknowledge the existence of God.
My question is, have you ever thought of what will happen to you if the Christians have been right, all along?

Since the Atheist always answer Christian questions, I want to jump in here. The great thing about Gods love is he loves even Atheist. They will enter the gates of Heaven when they die, regardless if they repent or not. It says so in Romans 5:6. Jesus died for the ungodly.

It makes no sense to fake belief in the unreal in order to avoid consequences of error. This is the fear upon which all religions are based since the days before writing, the fear that you have.

Anyway, why would only the Christians be right - don't all the other religions believe they have a monopoly on the truth? That in itself is powerful evidence that they are all wrong.

The real problem is that very young children are educated to believe in religions as undisputed facts before they reach an age of choice in what they can believe, and the same is re-enforced at home by parents, hence it passes the generations forever, despite science and education chipping away at the ancient foundations until there is nothing left but the indoctrination we call faith.

Well, let me see if I can actually anser the question since the first 32 people couldn't. NO. They haven't actually thought about what may happen to them if we have been right all along. If they had, they would not take it so lightly. First, there is noone who is actually an atheist, because they cannot actually offer proof that there is no God. Second, this means they must be an agnostic. If they were honest with themselves and you they would say, "I'm not sure if there is a God", and this would make them agnostic. Therefore, if they are not sure, then I have a fair question for them. Is it fair to say that you don't know everything there is to know about everything. The honest answer for someone without an ego bigger than the one they say God has is Yes. They don't know everything about everything. Again, I would ask, would it be fair to say that you only know half of everything about everything? Again, the answer for someone without an ego bigger than the one they accuse God of having is Yes. It would be extremely fair to state that you even know half of everything. So now they have a 50/50 shot (knowing half of everything) that God is not real, there is really no hell, and they will not go there. They have just realized that they have a coin flips chance of spending forever in hell, a lake of fire, in torment, for ever and ever. And, with the amount of half-hearted attitude toward this question. Your answer is NO...they have not thought about what will happen to them if the Christians are right.

the preacher explained about the rapture the other night and when he believers are taken to heaven and the beasts are loosed upon the earth there will no chance of repentence for hte unbelievers, which kinda begs the question what will the 144000 jewish preachers in earth at that time be doin
i suppose we all feel that vaguely that we will be able to square it somehow if we ask nicely-a loving god-and all that but the real answer is;
you never really think about it in any depth in the same way as you never stare at the sun in a its never gonna to happen, this is a another question that i wish i had not started cos
o.k. gut feeling i htink that the whole hteology thing is jus t too silly
taht's a very uncomfortable question
although no one who has not been baptised can enter the kingdom of heaven i believe there is special exemption for those who would have believed if ,er, they had more information, but this is calumny, a sin against the third comandant that is uttering falsehoods agains t god
oh dear

If Christians happened to be right, then no problem. Not believing in God doesn't make me a bad person. I don't suppose I won't go to heaven just because I have never prayed or said how very wonderful God is. I don't suppose God is a vindictive and vain jerk who will take insult if I don't keep telling him how good he is, right? What a terrible image Christians make of their God!!! And then they say WE insult their religion!

And before anyone reports me for this, I insist: I DON'T think God is a jerk, okay? I really DON'T. All I think he doesn't exist. Are we clear?

A similar question could be asked of a christian, a jew, or a muslim. What if one of the others were right. This is the tragic thing about religion. Even if there was a god millions of people of one denomination or another are living there lives according to a false creed.

What will happen to an atheist that is wrong is that they'll get a (possibly pleasant) surprise. If they are right then all the christians and other religious folk are in for a gunk and we'll take there being no god in our stride. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see! I hope each of us gets what we seek.

Yep, party in hell with all my friends.
If the christians are right, this is the place where all the good music , women, whine or sex, drugs and rock`n`roll take place and the poor bastards up in heaven will lay there ears on the ground and listen in envy while Jimi Hendrix plays guitar for Marx ,Sartre and Bakunin.

Maybe I will grow horns and sent to a very hot place! lol ! And as everyone else says, have you thought of what will happen if the Muslims have been right all along etc etc. What a load of bull. We live, we reproduce, we die, that's it. Why can't people accept that? Yes it's scary, no-one wants to die but it's a fact of life.

Well since the basis of religion in a person's life is based on geography I sure hope a supreme being would see that and judge us on our life's work.
I resent the opinion held by some theists that atheists have no moral standpoint.
