Contact the person you bought the puppy from. Tell them what is happening. From there take the pup to a vet either yours or the sellers. I would ask the seller which they prefer. Since you did just get the pup, most honest sellers will usually help with the vet bill. I would not wait until tomorrow to take the pup to a vet, if this is something serious tomorrow could be too late. You can call the vet and talk to him/her about it and see what he/she suggests if you are wanting to avoid an emergency fee. If the vet feels like the pup can wait until tomorrow morning to come in that is fine, but if the seller tells you to wait I would double check that with the vet, the seller may be wanting to avoid an emergency fee.

Be sure when you talk to the vet to have the medical history you have on the pup with you so you can tell him what shots the pup has had and when.

Some dogs, too, just take some getting used to the new owner, and house. I feel like a shaky dog when I don't sleep in my own bed! Cuz I NEVER sleep more than 5 hours anywhere but in my bed!

When I was 8, my Dad brought a dog home he found on the street, in the WINTER!! A TINY thing, just fit in my HANDS!! All black, and LOOKED like a LAB!! It was STARVED, and WHIMPERRING for TWO DAYS and NIGHTS!! So, I stayed with it, until It quit!

Your new pup may just need to sleep with you for a few nights. Be sure to put Pampers in the bed where it sleeps!!

I feel your pain......celebrate and remember the joyous but brief time you had together. Fancy has crossed the Rainbow Bridge and will wait there for you. Go to a shelter and Fancy's earth sibling will pick you for their new human and Fancy will be your Guardian Angel Dog forever. God needed Fancy elsewhere, grieve but know that you are not forsaken!
Blessings!

It may be nerves how old is this puppy. puppies sold out before 10 weeks can be suffering from abandonment. You should call your after hours emergency vet (located in your phone book) and get a medical opinion.

OK......you need to get that puppy to the vet. Throwing up more than once is NOT a good sign. Do you know if this puppy has been getting her shots before you bought her? If not, then you could have a very sick puppy on your hands.

I am sorry to hear about your loss...i am sure your Golden Retriever is in heaven now playing with my Yorkshire Terrier Queen-Queen and my sisters Jack Russell, Jack-Jack...they are having a wonderful time where they can run free and bark about us...and how special they made us feel in their short lives

man I am sorry you lost her! That poor puppy. I hope your breeder is going to give you another puppy..Or where did you get her? 5 months old, I sure hope she didn't suffer like that for her whole 5 months.. Man that sucks.. I lost a new pup I bought, he had Parvo, he didn't have a chance..

Sorry for your loss!!! It never matters how long you have had them, it hurts..

im so sorry about your baby dog. next time, please take your pup to the vet as soon as you get her to get a good bill of health. also, if you have any vet bills from the pup that just died, you should have the people you got it from pay it. please do not settle with getting another animal from them, that would be foolish. once again, im sorry about your pup. i guess you should have been at the vet instead of on the computer asking all of us.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I doubt you had sufficient time to really bond with her but it surely does hurt.

Please get a refund from wherever you bought it. Before you get another make sure you have a vet check her/him right away.

Again, I feel badly for you.

She might be dehydrated. Try to give her some water. Check her gums and make sure they are really pink. If not you need to take her to a vet.
