You can lose much more weight if you intake between 1500-1800 calories and up your excercise to 30-45 minutes cardio and add some weights as well. I was able to lose between 15-20 in a month doing that 50 lbs over a little more than three months.

Don't eat only 400 calories a day! You will lose weight, but it will be muscle! You will be forcing your body to cannibalize itself to survive. Also, you will slow your metabolism and it could take YEARS for you to get your metabolism back to normal. You should NEVER eat below 1200 calories each day. Just eat about 6 small meals each day. This will keep your metabolism strong!

i do not know exactly but the idea is to burn more calories than you take in...but 400 calories is not very much in one day.. and you could use more exercise than 15 minutes a day...

when people lose weight they don't stop eating, they eat more healthy, which means what they eat....fruit & vegetables, some protein, some carbs; how much they eat (calories/serving) and you need more; and how often they eat...3 main meals and 3 snacks or 5 smaller portionned meals.

im a month ON A 1500 CALORIE DIET. about 5-10 pounds. it depend how you excercise.
