You need to use the *whole* Frizz-Ease line by John Frieda, or else it won't stay. (I use it all, and it works great. I love it.)

I personally use the Frizz Ease: Curl Around products, but if you want straight hair, then you want to go for Frizz Ease: Straight Ahead ones.

The entire process includes:
Step 1: Cleanse (Straight-Ahead Daily Shampoo)
Step 2: Condition (Straight-Ahead Daily Conditioner)
Step 3: Smooth and Defrizz (Lite-Formula Hair Serum)
Step 4: Style Straight (Straight-Answer Straightening Spray)
Step 5: Finish&Hold (Moisture-Barrier Hair Spray)

It know seems like a lot, and it is, but it is absolutely worth it. (Especially for a special occassion, when you want your hair to look its very best.)

If it's just for every day use, then try just using one or two of the products, but be prepared for your hair to maybe lose its style. -- But if you want the full effect, and you can afford it, use them all.

Also remember that John Frieda products are professional-quality, so when you think of it like going to a professional hair stylist every day, it really is quite cheap!

Happy hair-styling!

P.S. If nothing else, remember this:

If you have thick, frizzy hair [like I do], you will always want to straighten *before* it dries. By that I mean: always use a straightening shampoo and conditioner, no matter what brand, or it will not remain straight for long.

1. Placing 1 or 2 drops of safflower oil in your palms and rub them together.
2. There should only be enough to make your hands "shine" in the light.
3. Carefully take your hair (while dry) and "scrunch" the small amount of oil to the ENDS first and work toward the scalp.
4. Leave this in your hair.
5. 1-2 drops of safflower oil on dry hair is so small, you won’t notice it is there. By doing the above as often as necessary, will ensure your dry hair will have the proper amount of humectants to attract and retain moisture. The key is a small amount will go a long way

after applying the frizz ease let your hair get about half dry..using a large round brush blow dry it on low pulling the hair thru from root to tip do this several times and use a lil jel .
or when its 3/4 dry use a flat iron and straighten it.
or go to a salon and have them put a relaxer in it..it helps too if your hair is longer

Try washing your hair with Finesse shampoo and conditioner for dry course hair, then try adding the frizz ease to your hair while it's still damp, blowdry it straight with a large round brush ( pick one up at sally's) then after your hair is blowdryed straight add a little more frizz eaze to the dry hair concentrate on your ends and roots let me know how it works out. Don't gel your hair before you blowdry it it doesn't work for THICK hair like yours it will only make frizzier when it's dry that only works if your hair is fine trust me I went to a salon and they did that to me my hair is thick and it looked horrid!

I have to deal with frizzy hair so my mom gives me and my sister olive oil and you put it in your hair which makes it thinner which causes the frizz to go away
